On July 30th to August 5th, the Lee County Strikers Coaching Staff will be offering a unique opportunity for the LCS players and families: a week of preparation with the FGCU Men’s soccer team. The week long camp and subsequent Weekend ID Camps will be charged with preparing the players to compete in their upcoming seasons.

With the relationship with FGCU men’s soccer coaching staff and players, the LCS players will have access to excellent coaching and training methods while getting to know many of the FGCU eagles players.

“We felt it was important for our FGCU guys to get out into the community more and provide examples for our Community,” Head coach Jesse Cormier commented. “We have a responsibility as a flag ship Florida state university to promote our sport, and build relationships in our soccer community, these camps will enable us to do that before our training camp starts on Aug. 7th, everyone’s excited,” Cormier added.

The camp will be a mix or technical, tactical, games and competitions to help families build the player’s passion and understanding of the game. The camps will also be accessible as the low cost was intentionally offered with scholarships for non-high school aged kids to make it available to the entire membership.
