Congratulations goes out to our own Jen Carter. Jen plays for the U15 Girls 96’ Green team and has been going thru the US Soccer’s National team training centers since December in hopes of being selected to the National pool. On January 18th after her final training session she was delivered the news she had long been waiting, she had made the Girls 97’ National Pool. This is an awesome and well-earned accomplishment, Congratulations from the Lee County Strikers organization and coaching staff.

Jen will now be part of an elite group of players who will begin their training under the US Soccer Academy program. Jen has a bright future ahead of her and because of her accomplishments the Lee County Strikers will also be in the spotlight. US Soccer scouts will continue watching Jen in her club environment and during tournaments which will afford other players the potential of being scouted at future events.

We are proud to say Jen Carter is a Lee County Striker! Awesome job, be proud, you deserve it! 

CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Lee County Strikers Jen Carter.......

Jen Carter, Lee County Strikers forward for the U15 Girls Green team has been invited to participate in the US SOCCER NATIONAL TRAINING CENTER in Plantation, Florida on Nov.14th. Jen was identified thru US Soccer and the Florida ODP and was invited to the first step of tryouts for the US National Team in her age group. This is an invitation only tryout and she will be competing against some of the best players in the State. This is an awesome accomplishment for this young lady and the Strikers organization is very proud of her and we wish her the best of luck!

As the National Governing Body of soccer in the United States, and under the auspices    of the United States Olympic Committee, we are empowered and charged with developing the teams that represent the United States in all international competitions such as the Olympics and World Cup. The Training Center Program is an integral part of this process.
